Savant Wealth Management Earns Top Spot by Accounting Today

Savant Wealth Management, a fee-only registered investment adviser, secured the top position in Accounting Today’s 2024 Billion-Dollar Wealth Magnets list. The firm, with multiple offices, was ranked number one for assets under management (AUM) out of 150 firms, 52 of which had over $1 billion in AUM. Angie Stephenson, managing director at Savant’s Lancaster office, expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the firm’s focus on enhanced tax and accounting offerings to meet clients’ evolving needs.

The ranking, released in June, included CPA firms with financial planning practices. Accounting Today reported significant AUM growth among the Wealth Magnets, despite challenges related to staff integration, technology, and AI. This growth is expected to position these firms for continued expansion in the future.

CEO Brent Brodeski emphasized Savant’s strategic growth and recent acquisitions of tax and accounting firms to enhance its integrated wealth management services. The firm’s commitment to expanding its offerings and specialized team, as well as leveraging technology for operational efficiency, has contributed to its success.

Key acquisitions by Savant included Raymond F. Book & Associates in Delaware and Peay & Associates, LLC in South Carolina. The firm remains dedicated to its growth strategy and plans to acquire more firms in the near future.
