Accounting Seed has announced the launch of its accounts payable (AP) automation feature, following the successful introduction of its accounts receivable (AR) automation in 2023. The new AP Automation function aims to bring efficiency and time-savings to SMEs by streamlining the entire AP process. It eliminates the need for integration with external AP automation suites, making it easier for AP clerks to use and benefit from. The new features automate bill ingestion, invoice matching, payment processing, and reconciliation, providing organizations with better visibility of cash flow, reducing errors, and mitigating the risk of fraud. The AP Automation feature is available now, with pricing information available on request. Accounting Seed has partnered with Edenred Payment Solutions to deliver the automated payment distribution component of AP automation. Currently, the launch is limited to US-dollar entities only, but future updates are expected to support other currencies.
