Climate-disclosure requirements are becoming more common, forcing businesses to understand and report their environmental impact. In Bold Print aims to make this process easier with its carbon-accounting software, which it calls the “TurboTax of carbon accounting.” The platform guides business owners through a series of questions to measure and report their carbon emissions. It covers Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and is targeted at smaller businesses that may not be able to afford consultants or accountants. The software also offers decarbonization scenario analyses and incorporates data from both on-premises facilities and cloud service providers. In Bold Print’s software is already being used by customers like Ulta Beauty, which needed to analyze emissions from hundreds of suppliers. The company plans to offer auditing protection by having a third-party provider audit the results. The software is available now.
