In March 2024, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) experienced a 21.8% increase in both volume and daily selling rate (DSR) compared to the same month in 2023. Out of the total sales, 36.4% were electrified vehicles. For the first quarter, Toyota sold 565,098 cars, a 17.2% increase on a DSR basis and a 20.3% increase on a volume basis. The Toyota division saw a 22.7% increase in volume and DSR in March, with notable performers in EV sales, such as Prius, Prius Prime, and RAV4 HEV.

Lexus Division also saw sales growth, with a 15.0% increase in first-quarter sales and a record-breaking 78,471 units sold. Notable sales increases were seen across several models, including the ES HEV, NX series, RX HEV, and the all-electric RZ. Both divisions reported record-breaking sales figures for various models during the quarter.
